tethering 3G connection from android to netbook

Mar 5, 2013 9:46PM PST

I'm considering to use my android to get internet connection for a netbook since the wi-fi where I live is unreliable at times. The problem is I have no idea on how to tether my android to the netbook. Could someone post a link on how to do this or could they post the instructions for me?

https://www.google.com/search?q=android+tethering will contain useful hits to apps, reviews and tutorials on the first page.
I won't repeat them here, but titles as 'The ultimate Android tethering guide' and 'Android tethering apps: 6 excellent options' do look promising, don't they?

I use EASYTETHER. It's free to try on the store and if you need the full features it's not much. I bought it.

As the site contains all setup information I have never had anyone ask me more questions.

....Verizon for my Android phone and when I want to connect my Nexus 7 via wifi/tether, I turn the mobile hotspot on from my cell phone and establish a wifi connection with the Nexus. Pretty simple process.
