Tell me if I'm wrong.
You have Mandriva Live CD and you want to run it, make changes, then save those changes back to the CD?
I don't know Linux, (at all), but it seems to me you risk making this a dead CD if you make changes to it.
But since I know little, or less, I'm asking around here if anyone else can pop in with any ideas.

Ubuntu Lucid 10.04
Debian Lenny 5.04
250 gb hard drive w/Windows
80 gb hard drive w/ Ubuntu and Debian
I have a Mandriva live cd that I want to be able to make changes to the system and save these changes for another session.
Would VM Machine allow me to do this or is there another similar system that would accomplish the same results.
If so which hard drive should I install it on.
I want a system that would not effect my current triple boot grub 2 program.
I do not want to install Mandriva until I determine it is superior to my current KDE desktop.
Thanks
