Can anyone assist me in removing the Tenda software from my system?
I am running Tenda model W311M Mini Wireless USB Adapter,Windows 10 on an Intel core i3 processor. The program does not appear in control panel add remove software. tenda wireless

I don't know OLD SCHOOL. I can find the files in the folder, but thought if I deleted the folder it could screw up the directory. The thing puked and was replaced with a newer model from Netgear.

The intent is to screw up the Tenda apps and autoruns.

Old school removal is simple. You delete the Tenda folder and see what happens.

For folk new to this you can RENAME the folder to see what breaks. WE WANT TO BREAK THINGS! Then we see the error messages and then work those out. Most of the time it's some item running on startup related to the Tenda which I use AUTORUNS to hunt down and remove.

you sir are more sophisticated than I.

I did something similar when I first purchased this computer several years ago. The result was the directory got screwed up I had to bring in a tech who reinstalled Windows and killed everything on my system. At that time this was a business computer, I have since retired but still do not want to go through that again. I have been living with this tenda crap on my system for a long time. I am just pissed that they can't tell me how to remove it .
Thanx but I will pass on old school.

Answer
Have You Tried Revo Uninstaller?

The Revo Uninstaller Free program will frequently find installed programs which don't show up in the Control Panel. If found, it will allow you to uninstall using Revo. The link is below and use the "Free Download" button to download the file to your computer and run it.

https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Also, the Tenda W311M should have come in a box with an installation CD. Frequently, those CD's include the ability to uninstall the software. Have you tried that?

Hope this helps.
