Although they are still in business ...

... I'm surprised not to see the original Priceline.com grocery and gas "name your own price" concept on the list. It was a huge flop.

Of those ten, the only one I ever had personal experience with was Pets.com. Except for cat treats that I can only buy online once the big coupon and shipping savings were ended for all the online pet retailers, it just isn't worth it. Petsmart and Petco have regular stores in addition to their online service so have survived well.

We have a Pets.com sock puppet that talks

It says four different things. My daughter likes it.

One of their commercials was hilarious. It was a Christmas ad. The sock puppet sees some Christmas stockings hanging from a fireplace mantle, looks into the camera and whispers, ''The horror......the horror....''

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
