Temporary Internet Folder

Using OS XP..IE6.... Does XP have a Temporary Folder??can find the temp folder..but need to Delete Cookies in my temporary folder,as deleting cookies in path: IE6-tools-delete cookies does not delete cookies in the Temporary Folder,or it didnt in 98se, always had to do that manually.Thanks

In your control panel under Internet Options, there is a button to delete cookies. XP will have a separate temporary internet folders for each user. Using the system cleanup tool, you can get rid of temporary internet files for the user currently logged on only. Keep these things in mind if more than one user is defined.

In addition to the excellent advice given above, the exact location of your user's "Temporary Internet Files" folder will be at the path below:

"C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files"

Hello Grif..Nice to hear from you again..Thats exactly what i was searching for.Thanks..Knew it needed to be done and you are the one that taught me to do this!! ; ) There was a enormous amount in there too! Knew it had to be somewhere on this PC.Was easy on 98SE now have XP,big diffrence and still slowly feeling my way around.If you have time would you venture over and take a look in PC Applications Forum about problem with (Java)..Thanks again.
