I have a Sharp Aquos lc-26d40u 26 inch LCDTV. Lately the picture has been fluctuating. INstead of being full screen it turns letterbox with no warning and no reason. I don't have HDTV hooked up to the surround sound (too expensive right now) so there isn't a reason for the letterbox to show up. Also today the picture apparently has shifted upwards, cutting off people's heads.
I can make it go back to normal for a while by switching through the tv inputs, stopping on tv, then going back to input 1 (the dvd player).
I have cable running into the surround sound, then running into the tv with a monster cable. I have component video hooked up for the progressive scan dvd.
Is anyone having this problem or know how to fix it?
