Telephone networking

Apr 19, 2005 1:13AM PDT

I recently purchased a second computer and would now like to network them together ( one computer is a clone P4 running XP Pro and the new computer is a P4 Dell running XP Home). The computers are in seperate rooms so I want to network them using a router and the existing telephone lines in the house. The clone computer has an internal broadband modem that I would like to share an internet connection through. Would this be possible? Or would I be better off going wireless?
