That camera does not need any drivers or special software to download the pictures.

You will find instructions on page 43 of the User Manual.

Turn the camera on, put the camera in "playback" mode.
(playback mode is the mode you use to view pictures you have taken)
Then connect the USB cable between the camera and computer.

Use your computer's "Windows Explorer" and look for a new hard drive listing.
That new hard drive is your camera.

Use Windows Explorer to copy the photos to your computer hard drive.

Hi thanks for the advice on the above camera
I'm afraid that none of these suggestions work
though i have tried them all time and time again.
the tekxon website does not even come up with camera mentioned.

windows comes up as getting pics from the camera
then comes up with the message that cannot find it

Your camera is show on the Tekxon website:

http://www.megxon.com.tw/E/techsupp/download/X51/X51_supp.htm

It is possible that the camera is defective.
The only support is in Taipei, Taiwan China.
The only way to contact them is via e-mail:

http://www.megxon.com.tw/E/ContactUs.htm

If you can return the camera ... do so.
If you can not, it should be under warranty ... email Megxon/Tekxon at the link show above.

If the camera is taking photos that you can see on the LCD screen, you can always buy a memory card reader.
Available at any store that sells digital cameras.
Card readers sell for under $20.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
