Why wasn't he allowed to keep it? ... We have a law that ....

if a minor obtains goods fraudulently, they do not have to be returned if considered "necessaries" (eg school requisites). I would have thought that it was necessary for Everyone to have a $123,000 BMW - but perhaps you don't have this law ...

Hmmmm, I wonder if we could get a law like that for the 'elderly'?

Seems to me you have two chances ...

Over here, this law is by precedent case law rather than statute from way back in 1936, which established that even luxuries could be regarded as "necessaries" if they were typical within the individual's normal lifestyle (i.e. what was considered necessary for a rich person would not be the same as that for a poor person). Therefore,

1) You have to convince them that you are a "Dodge Viper" person, unless this is a joke and a Viper is a horse and cart with three wheels, so not such a good plan.

2) A better one would be to get them to amend the age of minors to "anyone less than a hundred years old". That plan would certainly do it, but can you pull it off before you reach a hundred?

Oh well, back to the drawing board ...

Hi MO

I think a Dodge Viper is what Batman & Robin used.

Personally, I would want a Harley with all the goodies. I'm the Easy Rider type.

and now I know what it is (thanks George), I will offer further advice in due course as appropriate. I hope you will take me for a spin in the car when you are successful.

(Note to self: Must raise fees astronomically, ahem "a moderate increase in the circumstances". At last, a get-rich-quick-scheme. Take me for a spin? I will be able to buy one for myself if I can keep this one going.)

What's the emoticon for "silly", oh yes, Silly
