TechTracker makes recommendations based on the version number, not taking into consideration other factors, such as your license not being valid for the new version, the latest plugin being incompatible with an older version of the main program, etc. Thus, user discretion is advised when installing updates from any source, ensuring that the upgrade both desired and does not cause desired changes. With TechTracker, this is facilitated by the option to ignore a version of a program and hide future update alerts on an individual basis. Just instruct it to omit Adobe CS updates from now on and you should be good to go.

Hello,
I tried Techtracker for the first time today. I used Adobe Dreamweaver Cs3 & Techtracker said I needed cs4 adobe extension manager. Well, I downloaded it, but my Dreamweaver version will not recognize it and used the cs3 version, anyway. So, does this mean that some of the suggested updates should not be done when they involve making a change to part of another program? I had a similar experience with a Cyberlink Power program. Thanks.
