Question

Techtracker mp3mymp3

Jan 1, 2012 11:30PM PST

I think this is a good piece of software with one problem. I can record music etc. directly from my computer however since it is set to the Logictech webcam the recording will pick up any noises-speech etc. in our room.
I tried setting it to "Line in Sound Max
integrated" but that did not record any sound.

Any suggestions please.
Thanks

I see this has the same issues as Audacity. Looking at http://www.mp3mymp3.com/faq.htm I see we need to choose what input in Vista. But some folk have trouble with that.

My only solution is to use the audio out to the audio input jack if all efforts fail.

As regards the noises from outside of the recording this may help others in future.
I right clicked on the speaker in the bottom right hand corner and then changed the Recording Devices setting from Microphone to Stereo-Mix. All is now OK and no outside noises are recorded when I am recording whatever.
In Vista it actually shows that Stereo-Mix is not available however I clicked on it and it is there and works fine.
Hope this helps others who may have a similar experience.

Always appreciat the CNET guys. Have a good one.
