probably failed to mention that attempt (trash and reinstallation) in my
forum post...but yes I did this as well and no luck the TT behaves the
same way - no relink to client from website to commence downloads.
If you desire a copy of my system profile, please let me know and I will email under separate cover. The Mac System profile is many mb's large and I would not like to hinder any one on the forum

In reviewing this forum it is evident that there is a problem with TT, as this issue has been reported to you since early Oct....I wish to add the following details
I continue experiencing the problem where after I discover software is
in need of updating and linking to the download website and selecting
those I wish to download, the software initiates and then instantly
stops working. Tried it on FF 7.0.1, and Safari 5.1 - both browsers do
not work...also have turned off almost all 3rd party apps...still not
working...have had to manually go to each CNET download app page. This
is no fun and certainly was never the case when the service was VersionTracker...would appreciate some kind of response
