TechTracker

I did not download and install TechTracker yet there is this black band (TechTracker) across the bottom when I go to the forums. The band has the following on it: CNET | Recently Viewed Product| My Lists|TechTracker

How do I get rid of this?

It actually displays for all CNET users, regardless of download, since it's part of the webpage designed to highlight key features. However, you can expand/collapse the bar by clicking the little arrow on the far right edge, a preference that is saved as a cookie by your browser.

Hope this helps,
John
