well neither of those are native 1080i, so I would get either one because 720p would look nice on either one. That pioneer is a native 4:3 768p resolution. And I'm not sure why you would want a Sony with a 1024x1024, maybe for hooking up with computers too?
I'm caught between a Sony KDE-42XS955 and a Pioneer PDP-4350HD. Both sets have the latest technology (HDMI, HD tuners built in, Cable Card slots etc) The Sony claims a resolution of 1024x1024, and the Pioneer is 1024x768. Does this really mean that more pixels means a clearer picture? Does the Pioneer's new color filter mean beter contrast ratios, and brighter colors? Very confused. Please help. Thanks
