technical help

Hey everyone---- i just perform a complete system recovery on my HP desktop PC. And can't find my E: drive which is my CD/DVD drive.
I have windows XP. can anyone help me please.

Hi:
Open start menu > control panel > device manager > right click on cd/dvd drive and check if it's enabled.

I did open device manager and right click on the cd/dvd drive and it was enabled. and i try reinstalled the driver...still nothing
