teac cd player component

I have a TEAC PD-H500 CD Player component that I need to ship. Does anyone know if it is possible to lock the CD/ laser component so that it does not get damage in transit?

TEAC seems to be long gone. Sold the rights to the name; I guess. TASCAM is still business.
Gently turn CD player over and look for lock button.
The truth is whoever you're shipping it to would be
better off with a new DVD unit (they play CD's as well.)
