Tax break for Vietnam veteran retirees

Does anyone have information regarding a tax break or exemption on Army retired pay for vietnam veterans? I served in Vietnam in l967/68 and have been told that my retired pay may be tax exempt due to possible agent orange exposure. I have recently had radiation seed implants for prostate cancer.
