Taskbar Toolbar

Dec 2, 2004 1:46AM PST

When my computer starts up a Toolbar is loaded into my Taskbar labeled "Cannot find server" I can remove it by right clicking and unchecking it but it reappears on next startup. If I check its properties with a right click it shows
System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#file://c:\program%
How can I perminately remove this?
I am running WindowsXP Home Edition.

Bill,

What type of internet connection do you have? Cable, DSL, dial-up? (I'm guessing that you have a broadband connection that immediately loads at start up.) Are you also having problems connecting to the internet and surfing? Which browser do you use? (Internet Explorer? something else?)

Let's start by checking for spyware that could be blocking the network connection. Please download, install, update, then run the free spyware removal tools below:

Grif

I have a DSL connection and am not experiencing any problems with my internet connection. I use both Explorer and Maxthon(preferred).

I used all 4 solutions that you suggested but the problem remains.

I have reviewed all of my startup programs and cleaned my registry to no avail. Is it possable to directly edit the Taskbar?
