taskbar to display date time

by chxxangie77 / August 4, 2009 10:12 PM PDT

my OS is Windows XP professional version 2002, SP3.

i have adjusted the window to the best performance from the best appearance.
when the window in the best appearance mode, i'd dragged my taskbar to 2 lines, then i'm able to view the date and time and weekday in the right side of taskbar.
but after i adjust to have a best performance mode, the taskbar is still having 2 lines, but left only time and weekday, and the date is lost. it will only appear when i drag the taskbar to 3 lines.
however, i do not want the taskbar to become 3 lines, this will reduce the space of the display area.
anyone can help me on this..? thanks in advance...

Don't use the taskbar timepiece. There are hundreds of taskbar timepiece softwares to stand in for this. Let the search begin!

Make it a support issue to your company IT. Tell them it's mission critical, etc.

chxxangie77, If you put your cursor over the clock a tool tip/balloon tip should appear with the date even if your Taskbar is only one line high.

yes... i know there is tooltip will popup when mouse cursor move over the time at taskbar.
but sometime the tooltip will not popup. and feel like not so convenience if need to always move to time in order to see the time and date...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
