Taskbar doesn't want to hide when checked

by google003 / December 22, 2006 9:49 PM PST

I have had this problem for about 2 days. My compuer is almost 1 year old. When I right click on my ttaskbar and select "hide inactive icons" and click apply and o-kay it doesen't hide. There is no arrow or what ever. It used to work? How can this problem be fixed? On the same day I noticed that some of my icons were missing then appeared- this is just incase but now all are there. All help is appreciated.

google003, Go to the link below and under the letter "N" scroll down to "Notification Area - Hide Icons"/"Notification Area - Hidden Chevron Missing"/"Notification Area - Icons Disappearing" where you'll find some possible solutions.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
