It was an office "addin" crashing. I'll share one other instance next. This one was easy to track down since the EVENT VIEWER held the name of the back product. I got lucky.

The other instance is more rare. It was out of date video or printer drivers. I can't tell which since I update both then retest.

Your post is missing the details for me to give the nod to which it could be so to narrow it down go ahead and look in your event viewer and update all those drivers.

In parting I'll share the rarest reason I've encountered. It was a hacked Office 2003. It wasn't a legal version of Office so there was no fix except to wipe and start over.
