Task Manager Disabled

Feb 8, 2004 3:26PM PST

I am getting a message that Task Manager has been Disabled by Administrator. I am the Admin, I can not find how to enable task Manager. Any suggestions? I do not remember turning this off but may have been done so by a system utilities program

Thanks, Bill

Bill, Go to the link below and under the letter "T" scroll down to "Task Manager - Control/Alt/Delete - Doesn't work" where you'll find several possible fixes.

Go to start>run and type in services.msc. This will bring up the XP services. Scroll down to find Task manager. Double click it and make sure it is set to automatic if that's what you want

Thanks to all. I used the Regedit and changed it.

Thanks Bill
