Task Host Window Preventing Shut Down in Windows 10

I'm using windows 10 pro and everytime i try to shutdown my computer it get stuck on a page where task host says app is in use and waits while its closing an app. But the thing is there is no app running in the background and around after 15-20 minutes my windows shuts down. I tried every method stated in this guide https://error24x7.tips/fix-task-host-window-preventing-shut-down-windows-10/ but it didn't work. Please I'm tired of waiting someone please help me, i don't want to format my windows. Thanks in advance.

In an average Windows 10 some 40 services are running in the background, and maybe one of them is the culprit.

https://www.cnet.com/forums/search/?query=%22task+host%22 finds your post and this answer and 16 other posts in these forums that contain the string "task host". One of them might help.

If no luck, I'm afraid that resetting Windows is your next step.

There's a big update coming any week now so that update could fix that.
