If you've got a programming tool, you can make nice little programs to remind you of something and run them with the Task Schedular.
But it's much easier to go and look for a Calendar-application like Microsoft Outlook. Microsoft Outlook ain't free, but I'm sure you'll be able to find a freeware or shareware program you like on the usual download sites like tucows and download.com.
Or try http://www.google.com/search?&q=freeware+calendar&lr= or comparable search terms.
A few of those programs might be programs to print a calendar for 2005 on paper, but most will be more or less what you're looking for.
Hope this helps.
I have a question that may have an idiotically simple solution. Is it possible to have Windows remind me to perform a certain errand? For example, lets say I need to water my plants at 2 pm once a week, take my pills at 11 am everyday, call my mother every 15th of the month, etc. etc. etc. Essentially what I?m hoping to do is to get rid of the myriad of colorful post it notes around my monitor that reminds me to do things. Can I schedule these things on to some kind of calendar and have my computer remind me to do these tasks, by way of a pop up window or something similar?
I looked into the Schedule Tasks function, but I don?t think that?s what I want, unless I missed something. Seems to me it?s more for periodic maintenances and updates.
Thank you kindly!
