TARGUS MOUSE

Aug 24, 2009 10:04PM PDT

I have a problem with my Targus mouse, the mouse is, model number AMW15EU wireless laser rechargeable notebook mouse, has stopped working. The mouse is also not reorganized by the system manager on a vista home premium 32 bit operating system. It has worked before on my Hp dv9700 laptop but now it has completely stopped working. I have only had it a month.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Take this up with Targus.com for starters.

I have sent an email explaining my problem to targus, but I have no reply, I also tried to find a driver on their website to see if a missing driver was the problem but they do not have any down-loadable drivers for my type of mouse

Require no drivers. They just work.

You may never receive a reply since you can't expect them to fix your laptop. They will only exchange the mouse a few times then tell you to get your machine fixed. They will never help you get your laptop to work with their mouse. I feel it best to be overly blunt here as I encounter many that expect the mouse makers to correct issues with our machines to prove their products are ok. Hope you don't take blunt too harshly.

So there it is. Test it (without installing drivers) and follow the directions on charging, etc. If its dead, get your money back.

Thank you to the CNET members for responding to my problem with the Targus mouse. I took the advice and took it back and exchanged it for another mouse of a different brand. I still have not received an email from Targus, so I would not recommend this type of mouse and along with Targus technical support.
