Question

Tape Ejection on my camcorder

I have a Sony CCD-TVR37 camcorder and Im on playback transfering video to my computer, sometimes I can watch the whole tape with no problem but in the majority of instance the tape stops and eject. I try cleaning the heads but still the same

These are the last days of such machines.

Be sure to keep transferring out the content and GOOGLE the eject problem.

I do not suggest trying much on these as cleaning and repair have often meant the end of the unit. Transfer out your content then sell it as-is on Ebay.

I undesratnd what you said bur I have not transfer yet. I had a quote from a California outfit for $118, they said is the tape mechanism has to be replaced. I really want to transfer those tapes and there is about 20 of those.
