Question

Tanga LG G Pad with FreedomPop free Internet

Per a Cheapskate article I have been looking at the Tanga offer for the 7" LG G Pad WiFi LTE with free FreedomPop Internet access.
In my area FreedomPop only has 3G service.
Will this tablet and the FreedomPop access work in my area?
I have contacted Tanga and they referred me to FreedomPop. I have not heard back from FreedomPop so I am hoping someone in this forum can answer my question before the Tanga offer expires.

You answered your question.

You wrote "In my area FreedomPop only has 3G service." So it should work. If there was another question I didn't find it in your post so be sure to ask it to Freedompop next.

The ad only specifies 4G and LTE

In reply to: You answered your question.

R.P. - Thank You.

I didn't want to create a long post by putting in all the detail. But the reason I'm concerned is that details of the offer shows:
"Get 100% Free 4G LTE Internet..."
Nowhere does it mention 3G access. I contacted Tanga and they quickly replied by referring me to FreedomPop. I have contacted FreedomPop but have not gotten a reply.
I am not familiar enough with these types of Internet services to know whether an offer of 4G implies that 3G is also included.

And that is why FreedomPop must answer.

No one here works for them here so while it should work, and I could write others got free use (up to some megabytes) each area can have its own rules about fall back to 3G.

There are priors galore about if 3G is free where there is no 4G.

Which, along with the deal changes with area no one but FreedomPop can answer.

Definitely more complex than I knew

R.P. - Thanks again

I understand now. You have clearly shown that these Internet plans do not follow any standard rules. I had no idea there were so many variables.

Your google link was very helpful.

I will just hope that I hear back from FreedomPop.

Answer
As per service

In reply to: Tanga LG G Pad with FreedomPop free Internet

In most when 4G is present you get it, then drops to 3G. That implies that the service stick with 4G as long as it can or where available. The service still gets done 4G or 3G. If you get the package and it doesn't work or problems arise, then you can surely opt-out and return package as it didn't deliver(within some time period), thus read the fine print. Though you may be stuck with any return S/H costs but should be it. Otherwise, don't proceed if you have any doubts don't get sucked-in by freebies if the service doesn't get delivered.

Solid advice

Willy - Thank You.

Your points are well taken. If something is free proceed carefully.
I haven't checked the return policy but I certainly will before any purchase.
