Take a photo of a DVD home movie!

Nov 3, 2004 10:11AM PST

Hey guys, I have a DVD movie that I would like to take a couple of JPG images out of. I can do something like that with Dazzle software when it comes to my digital camera. I can take snap shots and make pictures out of those. How would I go about doing the same thing from my DVD rom? I have tried putting the movie on pause and then using the "print screen" button. It has not worked. All I get is a black screen. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!

There is DVD player software with a frame capture feature. Mine is not freeware, but if you searched you might be able to find one that is.

I use Cyberlink's PowerDVD to capture a scene from a DVD movie. My Power DVD software came bundled with a hardware that I purchased sometime ago. You could search the web to find where you could find PowerDVD. htan
