Tabs disappeared from IE7

Dec 2, 2006 4:16AM PST

Now, that is a problem I never heard of! After a crash of Internet explorer 7, there are no more tabs, whatever I do. I uninstalled and re-installed IE, I disabled and re-enabled tabbed browsing from Internet options, but with no result. I am stunned. Any ideas? Thank you.

In a XP SP2 machine, I loaded one of the visual styles that "tranform" XP to the Aero style of Windows vista. It is not the first time that I apply a different from the default theme or style, but this is the first time that I encounter such a serious problem with IE7. The tabs were not showing at all. When I reverted to the classic XP theme, the problem was solved.
