Question

Tablets with best hardware/price ratio?

Dec 14, 2014 5:17AM PST

Hello guys!

I've been thinking about buying a new tablet and I would like to know your opinions. My budget is $250. I want a tablet that offers the most for my budget. Thanks in advance!

Answer
I don't think that's possible.

One man's treasure is another man's poison plus the prices change a lot. For some, they can't justify an iPad or the Google Nexus models (which are all I really think are nice enough to consider) and then we have the surprisingly useful Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

What good would the best hardware/price ratio be if it's not going to do what you want? We gave away some tablets so the price ratio on those were infinity or the best ever but why did we part with them? They didn't work for us.

Hi R.Proffitt,

Thanks for the fast reply and I know what you mean, but I just want a tablet priced up to $250 with the best possible specs that can be used for work, internet browsing as well as some gaming. So, what I need is an all-round tablet.

Re: tablet up to $250

So you made a list of tablets you found between 200 and 250 dollars. What tablets were on that list?
Then you applied some knock-out criteria. What criteria and what tablets remaining tablets?
Then you read the reviews to see the pro's and con's of the remaining tablets. Then what was your top 3?

I can't guess why it's a tablet?

I can get the real deal, all the browsing works (just try to get Hulu on Android working!) for about or under 250. I linked a sub 200 tablet and keyboard but why isn't that the cat's meow?

How about this? -> http://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Computers-Accessories-Laptop/zgbs/pc/565108
Item 1 is the real deal. No compromises.

Have you used an Android tablet? Do you know that many web sites just don't work?
