Question

Tablet - IPAD Mini Consolidation

by TechImpairedLawyer / March 28, 2017 1:22 PM PDT

I have two MACs that I use for my law practice. I also use an Iphone. I have an older Surface Pro that I purchased to use as a tablet for note taking, and my wife bought my an IPAD Mini that intended to use for note taking and other purposes.

However, I don't use either the Surface Pro or IPAD Mini and want to get ride of them and purchase a good device that I can use to take notes (and use law/business apps) and that is compatible with my MACs.

All recommendations are welcome.

Hello ,

To start of you should first consider how you will be able to transfer your notes from one device to another easily. I can only assume most people like to have notes syncing seamlessly over all their devices. As you have an Apple setup , Apple notes can do this for you if you were to purchase a new Ipad.

I would recommend a Ipad pro and apple pencil to go with it (if you would like to make notes by hand).

But I am a android person so I couldn't resist in pitching a Android product. A lenovo yoga book may suit your purposes too! If you have a google account , google keep can also sync your notes accross all platforms . (But it may be less seamlessly)

Anyway if I were you I would go for the ipad pro with you apple account helping you to sync accross all devices.
