Tablet for business use

Feb 10, 2014 12:03AM PST

What I'm looking for may be out of reach financially, but I'll lay out my minimum requirements for a tablet for business use:
Minimum 10" screen
Windows 8.1
Capable of running the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum 4 Gb Ram
USB Port (at least 2)
256 Gb SSD

This could also be an Ultrabook.
I'd love to have an optical drive, but it's not mandatory.

Is quite rare. Did you look at the Asus T100 yet?

Bob, I have not looked at the Asus T100, but will do so.
I should have made myself a little clearer regarding the optical drive. I meant that it would be nice to have on an ultrabook or notebook. I know that Dell (probably others as well) offers an external optical drive for their Venue line, but to me it's just one more piece of equipment that can go missing if I'm not careful.
I am really trying to have my cake and eat it too with regard to replacing my current Dell Inspiron 1525. I would like all of the benefits of a laptop without the weight penalty.
Thanks for the tip on the Asus!
