1.) Is your monitor calibrated? Also, pictures viewed on the LCD will always look better than on a monitor, just because it is small.
2.) If you are relying on JPEG images and do not want to mess with any post processing, you will want to play with the camera's Picture Effects, which will change the colors, saturation, sharpening, and so on in various ways.
I got T3i ( with 18-55 Kit lens) a week back and to be honest i'm not quite impressed with the still images.
1) Image saturation :
When I shoot stills and look up at the LCD the saturation seems to be quite good...but when it is transferred to the PC I see the images are desaturated. I have set the WB and the Picture style to the default settings.
2) I feel the images are not crisp and sharp -
I know 18-55 kit lens is not great...but the images that I get is same as a point and shoot. I have looked up at some online images which seem far superior. I have tried the different mode like auto, landscape etc but still not good enough
Has anybody faced this problem ? any insight in this regard will be of great help.
