t-mobile pay-as-you-go $100?

Apr 24, 2005 1:07AM PDT

I'm thinking of blowing $100 on a T-mobile pay-as-you-go plan (1000 minutes, expiration in 1 year), as it seems to be the best deal I've found for prepaid cell service.

Anyone have any experiences with tmobile?

Also is it possible to get, with that plan mentioned above, a flip phone with a camera (with at MINIMUM separate controls for aperture size and ISO speed) and speakerphone and mp3 ringtones (with ability to upload my own mp3s to it)? If so, what would the cost of an entry level phone like that be?

With those requirements, you would spend several hundreds of dollars for the phone alone. Yes, you can get a basic flip phone w/ camera for a reasonable price.

I'm also trying this

I'm going to try the T-Mobile pay as you go plan. The price is the best out there and T-Mobile gets good reviews for their standard plans but the "pay as you go" has different coverage areas... Either T-Mobile wants this product to highlight their outstanding network or they want you to complain so they can (bait and switch) offer you their standard plans.
