And if they don't answer it means those staff need a little prodding to make the call to Dell?
We are currently using this mib file "systemStateGlobalSystemStatus",
oid = 188.8.131.52.4.1.674.108184.108.40.206.1.2,
with our SiteScope monitoring tool.
This mib file as far as I know returns a value between 1-6.
other = 1
unknown = 2
ok = 3
nonCritical = 4
Critical = 5
nonRecoverable = 6
I would like to know what each of these numbers mean or consist of.
But most importantly I would like to know what a nonCritical(4) state means or consist of as most of our servers are at a nonCritical(4) state, because it seems like this may mean for a firmware upgrade, but would like confirmation if this is the only issue for getting a nonCritical(4) state.
Any advice on this is very much appreciated.
