System32 problem!

by cnetrg4 / October 24, 2005 3:13 AM PDT

Hey guys

Sorry guys, but i didn't think wiping your hard-drive could cause so many problems. My computer freezes ever since i wiped it 2 days ago and when i tried restarting it a black screen came up to tell me that my systems32\ntoskrnl.exe file is not now i dont have a clue what to do. I tried going online to read any solutions that may be there but i dont much about computers and all i see is stuff that i dont understand like needing to reboot my Boot.ini files or something. Please help me fix this problemx and describe it to me in Lehman's terms

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you 'wiped' your drive that means that it's reformatted. You have to reinstall windows from the Cd Rom drive.

OK, i have a pentium 4 1.72 Ghz computer built by aopen with I think MX4Z motherboard(cant tell you exactly because im not on it at the moment)

Im using Windows XP Pro (2002 version i think). I wiped it a few days ago and it was running good for a while then all of a sudden went all crazy on me and said i need to reinstall this. I installed it over the same OS. Deleted the old partition and wiped it cclean because i just had to much crap on it that was making my computer slow, with virusus no doubt. thanks guys.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
