Tiger updates probs

1) when posting please give exact model( g5 tower or iMac & which one), & specs, amount of Ram, space on HD; which version of Tiger?

2) What does happen, what sort of problems & issues?

Did you prepare properly for update? Back-up everything. Ran the diagnostic disc which came with your Mac. Running DW/TechTool is good idea, as well. Repaired Permissions? Cleared out cache, cleaned off desktop, checked firmware updates, then get the PPC Tiger Combo updater from Apple site & do Not
use the Software update feature. Then shut-down and re-start in Safe Mode, and then install the update, and then (yes, again) repair permissions, and then re-start.

Were you going from Panther to Tiger or just doing a Tiger update?

Check MacFixit, and all the Mac Forums & Apple Discussions for recent problems with 10.4.10 & 10.4.11, and the recent Security updates, too.
