System Restore

Having a problem with System Restore function - will not work. when I try to invoke the program, it goes though all the steps, but when finished, it tells me that the system could not be restored. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

This may not be a problem. SR reports that when it can find nothing wrong in the OS which needs correcting.
