Hi,
To answer your question, yes, all computers that are running windows 7 have a "system Reserve". The System reserve works as an Emergency Restore feature. If your computer ever has a boot problem the section of the disk allows you to run a Scan that will fix what my be causing the problem. This part of your hard drive cannot be deleted, formatted or expanded. Files cannot be Added or Removed Manually from the part of the hard drive this is for Windows 7 own personal use.
I have a drive F system reserve. I have no idea what it is. It contains hidden files like %recycle% boot etc. that are on the C drive. If an object is sent to the recycle bin it appears in both drives. Is this a necessary setup in Win 7? I have two drives but this is 99mb seperate from the two drives. Thanks.
