Have you tried reinstalling Windows? You never said which OS you are using or any real info about your computer so it's hard to help you.

You'll Need To Do A 'Destructive' Recovery...
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / November 10, 2007 2:29 AM PST

...if you want to remove the old system and all infected files that were there.. A "Destructive" recovery will format the drive and reinstall everything that is on the Recovery discs. It generally involves placing the first recovery disc in the DVD/CD drive, then restarting the computer which allows the computer to boot from the DVD/CD. Remember though, it will also wipe all your current data off the machine.. Be sure to make backups before wiping the drive.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
