I go to search the error code but didn't found! when the window startup, there is a BLUE stick past through, not the green one! Because green stick represent SP1 and SP2 is blue! The computer keep on restart! Should i reformat the computer or have any recovory method?

You need to ensure that all spyware, virii etc. are removed before installing SP2.

I would un-install SP2....remove all spyware and virii etc. then try installing SP2 again.

backup any files and folders you need. Burn them to a disk or put them on and externat hard drive.

Insert the Windows disk try this.

Click on start, run

type CMD hit enter

type scf /scannow (space between the f and /)

Computer will now scan and fix any issues you have with windows.

Remove disk and restart your computer when finished. Go get your Windows updates.

Now what do you have?

unless you tell us what you have. Could be, for example,
- A machine that came with something like 'system recovery' cd's or dvd's.
- An original Windows XP SP1 CD, and all driver CD's.
- A machine that asked you to make recovery CD's when you used it first time, but you didn't.
- A machine with a recovery partition in stead of cd's.

Tell as best as you can, and add make and model of your PC.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
