you need to provide more info. The blue screen --even though it may look like gibberish-- has useful information. Look at this example (it will be different than your error, but the format is the same):
Post the info from the top of your blue screen up to the point where (in the example) it says PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. Again, your error may or may not be a "PAGE_FAULT...". I would just need the information in that first paragraph.
Now, go back to the example I linked above. Look at the bottom where it says "*** STOP 0x00000050..." Post YOUR STOP error, and any reference to a particular file, like in the example where it says "SPCMDCON.SYS" (your file --if any shown-- will no doubt be different, but post it.)
I have a Gateway NX100 desktop, using Vista that I purchased new last January. When I first got the computer home it crashed with a blue screen. I contacted the store and Gateway. They said that I should reinstall the software which I did but continued to have the problem. Last week I took the machine back and had "Geek Squad" to FIX the problem which is now back. I just got the computer back on Tuesday and it has already crashed three times in three days. I do play games on my computer (Wild Tangent) and I am wondering if this has something to do with the crashes? I don't understand what is going on with this computer and I am not a computer genius but something is wrong.
