System Back up software

Apr 26, 2014 3:47AM PDT

Here is my problem.

I pay $250 a month to back up 63mb of data per month.

If I buy an external hard drive, is there a program that will run a back up automatically?

I am looking for a back up program for my server and the operating system is windows 7.

Thanks
Mike

Windows 7 is not a server. Windows 7 is a client. So that part of your question is mysterious.

Quite a lot of external disks come with their own backup software.
I don't use it. I just copy selected new and changed files (not from my Windows folder and such) to a USB-stick and another PC on my home network and once a month make an image on a USB3 external disk. Works quite nice, although not automatically.

And Hopefully, That's 63 GB of Data, Not mb

If it's actually mb (usually meaning mega-bytes), then there are flash drives that will hold 63 mb of data.

Hope this helps.

you could put the on CDs or DVDs and have some copies stored offsite.
