I think the biggest thing you are lacking is video card. If you have a pci or agp slot, I would look around for at least a geforce 6800 or radeon 9800. Install the new card, then boot into your bios and disable the onboard video. If your new graphics card didn't come with driver cd, download the current driver for your new card, before you change anything. Your cpu is a bit small for most new games, but should work with most of them.
