Syrian Lies About Drowned Child Photo

Remember the photo of the refugee child found washed up on a Turkish beach? There's more to that story, and you won't be so sympathetic to his parents after learning it.

"According to The Daily Telegraph, the vessel that capsized was being piloted by Aylan’s own father, Abdullah Kurdi. Survivors of the deadly accident further claim that Kurdi was a human smuggler who was travelling faster than he should have been when he caused the accident.....

Iraq-based Zainab Abbas, via her Sydney-based cousin Lara Tahseen, told Ten News she paid $10,000 for the voyage and Aylan’s father was in charge of the boat. “He was a smuggler, yes, he was the one driving the boat,’’ she said.....Ms Tahseen told The Daily Telegraph her cousin told her Mr Kurdi was definitely at the helm all the time."

The father's recklessness killed the child and exposed others to needless danger.
