Synchronize desktop, laptops on a home wireless network

Aug 23, 2005 3:16AM PDT

I'm interested in synchronizing My Documents (pictures, music, documents) across at least 2 (base station and one laptop), if not 3 (2 laptops) computers. I've found migration/back up software (Acronis, Detto, etc), however their descriptions are not quite what I'm looking for. I would like to be able to synchronize (as I do with our two Sony Clie's by Hot Syncing) these directories repeatedly, e.g. whenever I upload jpg's or mp3's. Does such software exist? Is it reliable and effective? Are copied mp3's then not playable (as with copied mp3's using iTunes)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
