SyncBackSE Version 4.2.4.0 (en)

by jainagray / December 29, 2008 5:37 AM PST

Hi,

Is anybody using this software? If so, can you tell me how to back up only a certain file type? I want to back up all my MP3s that are scattered in many folders and I can't figure out how to set SyncBack to do this. I suspect it doesn't have this capability. It seems to be more folder oriented than file oriented. Can anyone recommend back up software that will allow me to back up just one certain file type across many folders?

TIA

Don't use syncback. Just write an one line batch file like this.

copy *.mp3 \overthere\otherdir

There are over 2000 posts on that website. Don't have time to wade through them all. Was looking for a shortcut in this forum.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
