Sync contacts

Help! I have a Galaxy S2 and a gmail account. I do not know how to sync my contacts who are on my sim...the only ones which have transferred are the ones which have a google icon. Can anyone help??

you just simply go to the people app (where your contacts are stored), press the menu button and click on import contacts.

transfer contacts to phone,

transfer sim contacts to phone and then sync them with google account but google will sync contacts with email only so it is better to backup your contacts through export contacts.
