We currently have a Linksys EthernetFast Cable/DSL Router networking 1 Dell and 1 Gateway Desktop. The cable for the Gateway is being shared with an Xbox Consol by moving the Ethernet jack from one to the other. We want to add a third Gateway and go wireless. We read Allen Fear?s reviews and the Network Buying Guide. As we understand it, we can?t use our current Linksys to route a wireless access point. Is that true? If we buy the Belkin Pre-N Router and the Access point can we keep the Dell and Gateway on the Ethernet cable through the Belkin router or do all of the PC?s have to be wireless? I?ve installed cards in the past but would prefer to go with USB adapters. If all of the PCs have Ethernet cards and USB Ports can they all use USB adapters? Also I can?t seem to find info. on wireless Xbox adapters do they have them and do they use the same port the cable uses? Is there anything else I should know? Any advice you can give would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you for your help.
