after a week!
My domain registration is with godaddy and I went to my account there and updated the domain nameservers to my new website. The change went through quickly as far as godaddy was concerned, but for a WEEK, the site address sometimes brings up what's on the new server and sometimes what's on the old server. If I had cash for every cache I've cleared I'd be rich. If I had a dollar for every time I've shut down and restarted, ditto. I have cleared the dns cache on my machine. I have asked friends in other parts of the country to check it out and SOME of them see the same behavior. I have asked godaddy for help. I have asked the new server's administrator for help. I have asked my ISPs administrator if he can help.
No one can help. I could check the route, but how would I know which server it's bounced to isn't updating the way it should?
Ideas, anyone?
